NOISOME FRIGHT - ART

TOYBOX
"DO YOU WANT TO PLAY" ! !?

Inspiration Behind the Madness:

A mammoth installation,
Mimicking a 18th century 'coffre a jousts'.
A Victorian Toy Box accessorised with mutilated toys & tortured dolls;
this disturbed child advances, to severing human fingers, in his adulthood.

A mesmerising assemblage of pristine horror.. Vintage porcelain dolls & teddy bears - getting their 'undeserved' gruesome make overs.
Poor Jamima; was set a blaze, resulting in scorched hair, melted skin and the sad loss of her left eye!
Albert the Teddy, was unsympathetically sawn in half
**'Thats one Magic trick totally gone astray'!?
Lets not forget Matilda...headless and unable to find her way back to the Victorian Toy Box...left unceremoniously slumped on the Victoriana Cranberry carpet. A continuous 'current of gore' left in sad her demise!
